Gas Collection Systems- Gas Piping and Covering of the Landfill

  1. 45 km of HDPE pipe has been used for leachate, LFG, and compressed air lines
  2. Pipe connections has been made with electrical welding
  3. Cover of the landfill will be 60-70 cm of clay and 30 cm of top soil for future plantations

Flare

  1. Flares are manufactured by HAASE AG with flaring capacity of 2500 m³/hr
  2. There is 1 gas storage balloon with capacity of 14000 m³
  3. Flares burns the LFG at 900°C.

Boosters, Generators and Transformators

  2. There are 10 gas engines with capacity of 1415 kW
